What you will find here
Children's books, mostly from the twentieth century, in Dutch and French. The tales of Canon Christoph von Schmid, the stories of Leen Van Marcke and Lod. Lavki, Nonkel Fons, Bécassine, John Flanders, and books for young readers by Gerard Walschap and Constant De Kinder. Also old readers and schoolbooks, which show how children used to learn to read.
Many of these books are worth having for their drawings too: the description says who made the cover or the illustrations, among them Fred Garrels, Elisabeth Ivanovsky and Edgar Tytgat. A present for a child, or a piece of memory for anyone who grew up with them.
Every copy is unique and described individually, with its condition. You order online and we ship from Redu, the book village in the Belgian Ardennes, or you collect it in the shop.
